Message	it is more to satisty my own curiousity than to save any money. My friends call the car my "science project". I think that you really want to think about how you want to use / drive the car when comparing the type of swap. I like to take my car out on some of the road race tracks near here - for the most part they are short and twisty - so I like the idea of high compression with low to moderate boost and keeping my low end torque and 4.08 gears. The punch line: The boosted NA project will not be any cheaper than the "normal" TT conversion but I think it will drive and handle quite a bit differently than the converted TT. Like I said - consider what you want to do with the car first.
